Lt. Governor Candidate Debate

     Lt. Gov. Matt Denn

Lt. Gov. Matt Denn                    Sher Valenzuela

It’s not much of a job; presiding over the state Senate is the only official duty.  But it can lead to bigger and better things.  3 of the last 5 Lt. Governors have been elected Governor or to other higher office.

Unlike the national ticket, the Governor and Lt. Governor candidates are elected separately, so a Lt. Gov. of one party can serve under a Governor of the other party.  This year, incumbent Lt. Gov. Matt Denn is facing Milford business owner Sher Valenzuela, who gained national attention with her speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Come catch a glimpse of the political future of Delaware.
